Saddles with a SimaTree inside have the advantage of being adjustable thanks to our interchangeable gullet bar system.
There are two types of bar available: the R-Bar and the shorter S-Bar. It’s important to make sure you fit the right one in your saddle - they are NOT interchangeable.
R-Bar
These are available in seven width fittings and are most often used in saddles with a round cantle
S-bar
Available in eight sizes, these are for saddles with shorter points (identifiable by a square cantle)
The bars are made from heat-treated, press-formed steel and provide strength and stability for the tree. NEVER use a saddle without a bar fitted.
Replacement SimaTree gullet bars (plus screws ands washers) are available from a nationwide network of stockists.
